The young boy has ‘left doctors baffled after laying an egg in front of them’.
The teenager, Akmal was allegedly brought to the clinic by his family who claims he has laid 20 eggs over the past two years.
Akmal, from Gowa in Indonesia, has been X-rayed, which his family insists prove he is telling the truth.
His dad said: “In two years he laid 18 eggs and 2 today, so in total there have been 20. I cracked the first egg and its content was all yellow, no white.
“A month later I cracked another one, and its content was all white and no yellow.”
Medics have said it is almost impossible for poultry eggs to develop inside a human and they aspect the eggs were put inside the youngster.
Muhammad Taslim, a spokesman for the hospital, said: “Our suspicion is that the eggs were deliberately shoved into Akmal’s rectum.
“But we did not see it directly.
“Scientifically chicken eggs cannot form inside the human body. It’s impossible, especially in the digestive system.”
The teenager has been placed in quarantine in the Syekh Yusuf Hospital in Gowa, so doctors can watch him.
Akmal is not the only person to experience this occurrence.
In Jakarta, a senior man by the name of Kakek Sinin, claimed he could lay eggs, according to Coconuts Jakarta.
However, after being tested, it turned out that the eggs were actually just chicken eggs.
Dien Emmawati, Head of the Jakarta Health Agency, said: “We checked the eggs at a veterinarian in Bogor. The eggs were two-week-old chicken eggs.”
Mr Emmawati added: “The eggs were about to hatch, we checked Kakek Sinin but there were no signs of abrasion on his anus, which would’ve come about if he was laying eggs.”
Mr Emmawati said he thought Kakek Sinin believed he laid eggs because he might have hallucinated.
“It was just a hallucination and they weren’t human eggs. The make-up of the eggs was definitely chicken. There is no way a human can lay chicken eggs,” he added.
