Eruptive fissures from Hawaii’s Kilauea Volcano have been spreading lava through parts of Leilani Estates near Pahoa since the start of May. The lava has destroyed homes, charred trees and taken out roads in the community. New satellite images provided to the Associated Press by DigitalGlobe, a Maxar company, show how the lava has affected the community as of Monday in comparison to satellite images from nearly a year ago.
