Another weather anomaly: Freak hailstorms kill more than 50 people in India

Weather extremes are becoming the new normal. Last examples? Biblical hailstorms have killed more than 50 people over the last two days in India.

As reported by Uni India, a total of 44 people have died and more than 100 others were injured in 18 districts, after a heavy hail storm struck several parts of Uttar Pradesh on April 12, 2018. Farmer land was also destroyed. According to official news, the district of Agra was the most heavily hit with 15 deaths and 37 injured.

Deadly hailstorms are currently sweeping across India killing over 50 people.

The biblical hailstorms killed at least 50 people and injured more than 100 people across India between April 11 and 12.

Just a day before, on April 11, 2018 another hailstorm killed 17 people – a majority of children -and injured plenty of others in Rajasthan on Wednesday evening. The severe hail affected train transportation and flooded the main cities in the area, bringing traffic to a standstill for hours. Again crops have been destroyed by this freak weather phenomenon.

After the hail, roads were flooded and traffic brought to a standstill for several long hours in India

And these harsch weather conditions have continued until today and may only stop during the night.

And I think this escalation in anomalous and powerful storms is not going to stop for a while. Have a prayer for all of these poor guys getting giant baseball hailstones on their heads… And be prepared in your area!
