A strong and shallow M6.3 earthquake was registered in the North Atlantic Ocean at 14:03 UTC on November 11, 2018. USGS is reporting a depth of 7.3 km (4.5 miles). EMSC is reporting M6.3 at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles).

According to the USGS, the epicenter was located 1 068 km (664 miles) ENE of Barbados and 1 189 km (739 miles) NNE of French Guiana.

There are no people living within 100 km.
