What the heck is that thing? Strange creature resembling “Dobby the Elf” from Harry Potter captured on security camera in California

What the heck is that thing?

A strange video has surfaced purporting to be from security camera footage which captured what appears to be a creature resembling “Dobby the Elf” from the Harry Potter film franchise.

A Californian woman calling herself “Vivian Gomez” published the video on Facebook on June 6th, writing: “So I woke up Sunday morning and saw this on my camera and am trying to figure out…what the heck??

First I saw the shadow walking from my front door then I saw this thing….has anyone else seen this on their cameras?? The other two cameras didn’t pick it up for some reason.

It’s a scraggly little creature walking the most crazed walk ever in a dark parking area. While the face isn’t clear, the silhouette is certainly not that of a human. This is probably the most haunted yet comical video we’ve seen in a very long time. Harry Potter fans were quick to identify the subject of the video that has since gone viral on the internet:

Speculation is rampant that the video is fake, based on inconsistent shadows, strange movement, and evidence of editing.

Others have also guessed that the clip shows a puppet or a child in a costume.

It’s not Halloween yet. So what was this mysterious creature? That really looks alien to me!
