A newly discovered asteroid designated 2018 TV will flyby Earth at a distance of 0.75 LD / 0.00190 AU (284 235 km / 176 616 miles) at 20:05 UTC on October 7, 2018. It was first observed at Mt. Lemmon Survey on October 5, 2018.
This object belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids. Its estimated diameter is between 5.1 and 11 m (16.7 and 36 feet).

This is the 54th known asteroid to flyby Earth since the start of the year and 14th since September 3.
